You Might as Well Live in the Projects

Moved from a very nice spot to this hellhole due to the rent being affordable. I wish I would have stayed in my old place if I'd have known I'd break my lease after 6 months! It felt like I was in prison! I got into it with my neighbor because he obviously didn't have a job and I worked 3rd shift and music played all the time from my dining area to my bedroom. I had to call the police on him.The bad kids played football in front of my patio area. The lady upstairs moved family members in and me and my boyfriend had to complain about them numerous times. Management don't care, especially the head leasing manager. She is a real b****! And my boyfriend told her that when he returned the keys! She's a ghetto ole heffa. They wanna say they're not responsible for the complaints I filed. That it was the police. A visitor of someone upstairs from me got robbed at gunpoint 10 min. after I walked out the door for work! There was no notification of this to the residents. I finally got fed up and starting look for a home to buy, which the head b**** couldn't believe. They even tried to charge $50 for a rental report! I wrote them a check for breaking the lease and got the heck on! From what I've seen, it's gotten so bad over there, Dekalb Police is routinely doing checks over there...even had a checkpoint a few weekends ago right in front of the complex because the crime is so bad. But they wanna advertise like it's paradise to live there, with all the signs and balloons they put out in the front. To all, never live in a Miles Properties apt. They suck! Own your place!
