I just moved here a few months ago and yes, it is not the best place to live, and it's not the worst place to live. This community has improved a lot. There is a nine o'clock curfew now. You don't see any crime going on such as fighting, smoking, car jacking, etc. Yes, there are a lot of youg folks who live here and yes the irratate the HELL out of me when I'm getting off work and they are standing in the middle of the street like they can't see a car coming. I just speed up and if they don't move, they will get hit. My apartment is very clean and my neighbors and I like to take turns and sweep the hallway. My building smells good and looks good. There is crime in every neighborhood, there are hood rats and gangs and Be Be kids everywhere. But, so far I have not had a problem with any of it. If I can sit on my Balcony and read a book without beind disturb, how bad can the neighborhood actually be.
