I moved into this complex about a year ago and at first I thought it was great. It was a rushed move, and now, I really wish we looked at more places. The staff is very friendly, but the neighborhood itself seems to be going down every month. The apartments are pretty quiet, except for the gunshots at night. I was literally awoken from my sleep just the other night to two gunshots right outside my building. It seems like this has been happening a lot in the past six months (I would say at least 3-4 times a month). Also, if you live under someone, you will hear EVERY foorstep and everytime they take a shower! The gate is ALWAYS broken--although it does get fixed quickly (sometimes),its broken again within a day or two. I don't understand why they do not get cameras'!'! As for the interior----very old! Nothing is updated including the 1983 dishwaher and stove. My dishwasher has NEVER worked fully, so I have to wash by hand. There are many smaller issues from when I first moved in that have never been resolved (cracked bathtub, chewed up door molding, the dishwasher). The lake is pretty nasty as well, and I wouldn't even feel safe going down there alone. I've never been to the pool, mainly because its always packed with unsupervised kids, but it does look nice from what I've seen. They have also raised the rent, even if you are going to continue your lease. You could easily spend the $900 a month on something a lot nicer and in a nicer area--you just have to do some research...I wish I did! gkZ41df9CgXQPfm8K2A7
