I recently toured the apartment community of Southern Oaks located in Stone Mountain, Georgia and found it to be a quiet community. This community is located on West Mountain street with a small, quiet neighborhood setting. The community is being painted which gives you a good first impression from the street. The manager, Mrs. Dee Cadwell, the manager was very polite and informative about her community and the surrounding area. I called before arrival and the office assistant invited me to come and review all the community's amenities.The community had all of the amenities that were sited on the brochure. I am currently under a signed lease agreement but it really was something that I would consider in my next move.

looks can be decieving. when looking for a good place to move to, we need reviews from people who have lived there. not an "interested applicant" !!

probably is mrs. dee cadwell ;) funny how the "applicant/renter" descrided things and knows the manager's entire name lol (lord knows I can barely remember my professor's name)

Usually, when you're met with good customer service, you tend to remember names. Even if it's bad, YOU REMEMBER!! I think it's completely ignorant to assume that a bribe took place, just because there was a good review. It's so typical of people to have something negative to say when positive words are spoken. The ----- is a liar. Btw,I am someone who has been at this complex for a year, and can confirm that the grounds, office, and maintenance staff are excellent!!! mersycruz, Are you one of my neighbors, or someone who has only visited Southern Oaks in their mind? Can you even afford to live here? If you can, I encourage you to stop by. I welcome new neighbors, as long as you don't do anything to change the quiet atmosphere!!
