Incompetent and Uncaring Management

I have been a resident for almost 3 years and the new management is incompetent and deceitful. One of the smartest decisions I made was to install Home Security but why can they not remember this, when the information is in their office. They have set off the alarm each and every time I make a request and then because the alarm goes off, the work does not get done. How much education does it take to know one plus one is two. If you enter my place without contacting me, this will happen!!!! They have lied to me on numerous times when I've requested something as simple as pest control for these PESTY ANTS!!!! This complex has the worst ant problem I've ever encountered in my life. They get in your home which includes your closets and bathrooms. My car is infested with them and no, I don't eat or drink in my car. The new owners have hired the most incompetent management staff I have ever encountered living in apartment homes in the Atlanta Metro area. I am a very good tenant, I pay my rent on time each and every month, I've never been a minute or second late in paying and I've never given them any reason to treat me as if I'm a second class citizen. This is a warning to anyone considering this apartment complex as a home, if you don't care about your standard of living....move to Worthing Creek. The Management under the previous owners were always caring and although we had the pest problem, was always helpful in sending pest control companies to your home, although they were substandard companies. I am fed up and as a tenant at Worthing Creek, I will NOT, AND I MEAN NOT, renew my lease. I pay too much rent to be treated this way. It's a shame that the complex standards of living has changed so drastically because the apartment layouts and floor plans are great. But as the saying goes "A man's home should be his castle", Worthing Creeks Management's is "A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link", Worthing Creek's Managament is the WEAKEST LINK!!!! I could go on and on, but I'll save the book for a later date..... But, I will say one last thing, don't believe the smiles, remember false faces tell LIES!!!!!

My name is Deborah Westphal and I am the Regional Manager of Property Management for this community. We represent the owners which purchased this property in 2007. As we try very hard to address all resident issues regarding our communities in a prompt and professional manner, by putting competent and caring associates on site to assist, I would very much like to learn more information about this complaint. Please email me a response to dwestphal@greystar.com so we can investigate and resolve this matter. We have placed an award winning management team at the property as of May 2007 and the service team, is committed to making The Haverly the best place to live in the area.
