Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005

Me and my husband lived at the village for a year. well durning the application process, of course we were pleased. We were deadset on getting a fireplace and they didnt have any fireplaces left for the floorplan we wanted so they upgraded to a bigger apartment with a fireplace for the same smaller floorplan price. we were so pleased. and our apartment was HUGE! we had tons of space.thats about the only thing i can say about it. we immediatly started regretting our decision because they keys they gave us to move in with were the wrong keys, so we're standing in front of our building with our freaking uhaul truck unable to gain entry into our unit. It took maintence half a day to come and change the locks for us. the ----- at their anwsering service got an attiude and hung up on me. so anyway fast forward a couple months. our gas bill was outrageous..especially considering the fact that the cooking was electric. serious serious ant problem. i hate ants, one time the completely took over our bathroom. it was the grossest thing every. they had young thuggish looking guys driving around the the little golf carts, i dont know if they were maintenance or what but i do believe they had something to do with us getting robbed... oh yeah, we got ROBBED.. i went to the grocery store one day was gone for an hour and a half and i got one with my one year old daughter door wide open. EVERYTHING gone, our computer, tvs, dvds, vacum cleaner, artwork off the wall, lamps, our end tables, rugs, EVERYTHING. the only thing that was left in our apartment was our bed, our clothes and SOME of my babies toys.. and when i went to the leasing office they said, "well at least you werent home when it happened." wtf' u stupid -----' i'm sure if i was home the ---- wouldnt have happened. obviously they were waiting for me to leave.. and speaking of, their was the stupidest ----- every working in the leasing office. i dont remember what her name was, toya tonya, some ----.. but that ----- never had two smart thoughts in her life. common sense was not common with her, the whole leasing staff was unprofessional, rude, thoughtless and uncaring. We were so happy when our lease was up at that place. we moved out on the double. The only light to the end of our tunnel was we did get our security deposit back with no trouble at all. about 2 to three weeks after moving out they sent us a check for $300.. but if you are considering renting here! dont! dont! dont! thats all i can say
