We took a short 3 month lease while our house was being built. We paid extra for the lease. We were excellent tenents and paid on time. The last month I wrote them a note stating that this was the final payment. Six months later and without notifying us, they sent us to collection for over $1200.00. They claim that we needed to notify them we were moving using THEIR paper work. Get real! They said we owe them for an extra month?s rent, the electricity for that month, cleaning charges and for gate keys we turned in. The apartment was spotless, but they said since we were not there when they did the walk through they can charge what ever they want (I was in the hospital). The management is RUDE. We have been called liers and treated like low class citizens. We will NOT allow them to do this to us. This is a form of blackmail. Pay us or we will ruin your credit. If you are considering renting here, FIND ANOTHER PLACE!
