I have lived in the Atlanta area for about
3 1/2 years and have never experienced such an inconsiderate and incompetent apartment management team. When I first visited the apartment to receive pricing information I was quoted one price and when I arrived to sign my lease was told another and of course the idiot who quoted me the original price was no longer working there, but the property manager did honor part of the agreement. When I moved to Five Oaks in March 2005, I had two mice in my apartment and a third appeared about a month later! The noise from my upstairs neighbor has been out of control since I moved in and still continues though I've complained to management on numerous occassions. What you have read about the crime is true, but there haven't been any break ins reported since the New Year. Most recently I have had an infestation of ants in my apartment which was reported in December and wasn't truly resolved until late January. Parking is also terrible! Unfortunately I have to extend my lease until my house is ready, but I would keep looking if you want quality service, no rodents, and to feel safe when you are home!
