I have been living at Five Oaks since 2006 and I have'nt had any problem with with anyone. The staff are the best team i deal with since i came here to live from Jamaica (living here now 6 years) renting over 3 different apartment. They bend their backs to help my family whenever its necessary. maintenance staff is great they r always on time.....I get just what i paid for and more.
I TAKE GREAT PLEASURE IN RECOMMEND ANYONE TO FIVE OAKS.
(P.S. NO PARTMENT CAN GUARANTEE ANYONE THAT THERE WILL BE NO PROBLEMS AT THEIR BUILDING BECAUSE THEY CANT CONTROL PEOPLE'S ACTIONS....EVEN HAVING YOUR OWN HOUSE PEOPLE BREAK IN WHAT DO YOU DO' PEOPLE DON'T ACT LIFE IS WHAT IT IS... YOU ALL ARE NOT IN HAVEN WELCOME TO EARTH WHERE ALL SIN IS.)

No--no one can guarantee your home won't be broken into but at least WARN your residents of break ins. After my apartment was broken into the police informed me that there were numerous break ins at that prperty. Funny, I had NEVER heard of any. As a paying resident it would have been nice to have a warning.

Five Oaks parking lot is a smorgasbord for thieves. The area is swarming with vermin that dwell within close proximity, not to mention some that exist at Five Oaks. I guess our Jamaican author has been able to overlook the breakins in both autos and apartments, as well as the shootings and domestic issues. I wonder how they'd feel after being one of the victims? The anonymous responder states they have monthly meetings about breakins and safety. This says there is a genuine need to constantly be kept aware of the crime there. Stay away from this place.

i have been a resident for almost two years and they have safety meetings every other month. I know they tell us about any break ins they give full effort to keeping us notified.

I have a lived at Five Oaks for a little over a year and I most say overall it is a nice place to live just like the first writer stated- unfortunately-we do share a world with evil people. Guys WAKE up!!! No place can promise safety, Do u watch the news?. I have only gone to two safety meetings, but they not only discuss the property but they asked about personal concerns.I just feel if you have an issue with your apartment this is not the outlet to get your problem resolved..that's all

The point here is that this complex and it's owners are not honest up front about the high level of crime here. You have to move in and then discover they conveniently neglected to mention the noise, breakins, shootings, etc.. that exist here. A personal problem? When safety for yourself and property are a major concern, then you're damn right I have a personal problem with this complex and it's owners. DON'T MOVE HERE!

I just went to a safety meeting this past week or so, I just don't understand the comment "high level crime", I know of some incidents but nothing high level. Truth be told there are no places in the city one hundred percent free of Crime, just watch the news. There is a genuine need to be kept aware of Crime anywhere you idiots! Stop griping anonymous. We enjoy living here it has been a great experience. The staff goes out of their way to assist us with anything we need or have issue with.

in response to the post on 04/20/2009 If you should go and buy a house right now i bet you will get the feeling of info that that place is low crime.....can they honestly tell you that they will be no crime? People get real...This is EARTH..every day you read the papers or listen the news these thing happen even when you get enough warning NOTHING IS GURANTEE IN THESE TIMES....JUST BE ON YOUR LOOK OUT FOR YOURSELF AND YOUR NEIGHBOURS.
