Ok, We've lived here two years but now its time to move on.These apartments are over 30 years old and have their share of problems(I.E.-electrical,aplliances ,subflooring,hot/cold,water etc.).That being said, maintenance here in the past for us has 1-2 week guarantee plus ALL of the maintenance personel dont speak English and usually screw up what they try to fix!However, aside from maintenance issues and people parking cars and working on cars in the street its an ok place.Its not gated but suprisingly you dont get much ghetto vagrants, -------- in hoopties, or Teenagers with blaring bass disturbing neighbors.Instead there is a good mix of quiet Indian people and families who want their kids to go to Briarlake elementary/Lakeside High.The pool is ok but the fitness center sucks.Nice wide sidewalks are aplus for walking your dog.The leasing agents use to really suck but Aeysha and her partner are nice to deal with and are up front with you about cost.I wished this was alittle nicer place (apartment wise) and we would have stayed because they went to bat for us trying to get us into a better apt for less $.So, bottom line:spacious floor plans,average cost,nice office,good location(except trying to make a left turn onto Lavista)friendly neighbors.Bad-questionable to non existent maintenance,old apartments,thin walls,loud train,small streets,cars on blocks/illegally parked cars,etc.All in all satisfactory but only live here a year.Oh and with the specials watch out for the last three months when your lease will go up to market rate!
