The best thing about Preston Lake is the woods. You will feel like you are living in a forest. That part is nice. (Watch out for the squirrels) The bad part is the gate never works. I have heard the reason it breaks down so much is because people get out and open the gate. I think most of the people that do this live there and don't have cards. I actually liked the gate broke because I didn't have to worry about visiting my girlfriend. Also tons of people tail people in so basically the gate is worthless when it comes to crime prevention. The worst aspect of this place is the road that the apartment is on. (South Old Norcross Road) There is this gas station near by with illegal --------- hanging out looking for jobs. There is too much foot traffic around the apartments. I would recommend finding a place with not so much foot traffic.
