I moved here a couple of months ago and I absolutely love it. The apartments have undergone renovation and just about everything inside them is new---new stove, new refrigerator, new microwave, new cabinets, new flooring, fresh paint jobs, etc. They are apartment homes, and their floor plans are more like the inside of a house than an apartment - they're beautiful! The grounds are well kept and the management is friendly. I had a problem with my toilet and maintenance kept coming back, trying different things to fix it, and finally simply installed a new one with no problem. I love the private entrances to each apartment and the landscaping around my entrance is lush and green, perfect for a country girl at heart. The complex is quiet and the residents are quiet and friendly. No loiterers, no loud music, no ghetto foolishness---a multi-cultural community where kids have places to play and where honest working people can be at peace. It's a little more expensive than some apartments in the area, but that prices out the ghetto thug element from living here.

I currently live at Somerset and I can tell you this place is absolutely ghetto!! It is VERY noisy!! Stomping around, playing loud music, you name it. Yeah the kitchens and bathrooms were recently renovated and are great but what does that matter when the floorboards are literally rotting out and the ceiling is caving in!! I cannot wait to move out of this dump!!

I agree with other reviews. I currently live here and no they did not renovate the WHOLE apartment. They only did my kitchen and the knobs fall off the cabinets and the paint job was horrible. Still have paint splatters all over the floor. They never did my bathrooms. They gave the "extra" cabinets to my husband and told him he can do it himself! There is no microwave and they sent a man to "steam clean" my carpets after 3 weeks of calling. He used ice cold water! The playground is falling apart and mosquito heaven. The pool has been closed 3 weeks so far this summer and when it is open its dirty(the county shut it down). There is no more 24 hour maintanance. If you call after hours, they even shut off voicemail. My car was broken into and stolen. I found it in another parking lot within the complex! I brought home a new car and the temporary tags were stolen the same night! This place used to be nice but new owners made this place ghetto. Keep Looking!
