I wrote a review back in February 07 that was so complimentary, people thought the management wrote it. Nope, that's just how happy I was with the apartment this time last year. Well, things have DEFINITELY changed for the worse -- much worse. Every negative thing people have written about it in the last several months is TRUE --- nasty, raggedy-looking grounds, NO landscaping or upkeep, bugs taking over, leaves everywhere --- the place has turned into a real DUMP!!! They had the nerve to ask for a rent increase when I signed my lease, but I fought it. Why should I pay more to live here when management can't seem to figure out how to use the rent they get for maintenance, upkeep and to give tenants a place they can come home to with pride' None of the other apartments in the area are run down, dirty and unkempt like Somerset. It's shameful. The only things I still like are the floor plan, the location of my particular apartment, and the quiet (no noise problems around my apt).

I would have to agree with this user. I have seen this property go from a very well maintained operation to a level just above being a joke! - I am not out to smear the Bethany name, nor do I have any ill feelings or problems with the office staff. I realize that they do not control the financial assets of the company, but rather manage this property. Still, I pay my rent to the office and when I have a problem or question, I still get the same answer "We'll get back to you". This statement become a company line and a complete fabrication. Every follow up call is met with "I will have to discuss it with the manager ( I will not use her name). But, when you question the manager about a request the answer is the same "I don't know anything about it... Let me get back to" then the process starts all over... about the grounds... Maintenance - None Security - None Tennis Court - unusable | falling apart | not maintained | cannot be used... but when I check out all their advertisements they all mention Security, professional maintenance and Tennis Courts To be honest, the more I type the more I am starting to feel as if I am being taken advantage of. I see people moving out in droves. When I ask them why I always get the same response " The place has become a dump" That final comment reflects my overall feeling about this community... It is not the community that I moved in and loved many years ago...

THIS APARTMENTS ARE THE WORSTTTTTT!!!!!! PLEASE DONT MOVE HERE!!! IM A SINGLE MOM OF A 5 YR.OLD AND DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS NASTY PLACE !!! THANKS GOD IM OUT OF THERE!!!!
