I lived in shannon lake for two years with nothing but problems after the problems. it didnt matter how many letters I wrote, nothing was fixed. I lived on the 3rd floor and my air went out literally everyday. it came to the point where i became good friends with the techs cause i saw them so often. the first year my heat didnt work at all...the second year was too cold to bare and with still no response from management, my father had to fix the heat. to make matters worse, i purchased a home and was going to stay in my apartment until the lease but because i didnt give notice they attempted to make me pay for 3 more months, which is against the law. to make matters worse, the last month of my stay there was a homicide in my building in the apartment under me, i reported the smell and thought it was a dead squirrel in the attic since they played tag EVERY morning. the tech came told me i was crazy and left. WEEKS later the body was found in the apartment and bullet holes everywhere. my apartment was nice as far as layout but i would not recommend this property to anyone. they are constantly under new management, loose payments and just dont respond but cash your check the very next day!

I also lived there for 2 years and have just moved to Kennesaw. Before the current management there took over Shannon Lake apartments were very nice. Since then the constant harrasment of the damn upgrades they were making and not showing up on time pissed me off. The new people they were moving in trying to recover thier renovation money were some shady characters. To anyone who is reading this do not move there. Plus the property manger is an ass.
