I LIVED IN UNION STATION APARTMENTS AND MY APARTMENT WAS BROKEN INTO...SEVERAL APARTMENT WERE BROKEN INTO..IT IS NOT SAFE...A LADY WAS PULLED OUT OF HER CAR AT GUNPOINT...SAVE YOURSELF..BE SAFE.

i stayed there for a year 2004-2005 and loved it. beautiful and quiet however i had heard through management that break-ins were occuring and i had also heard that someone was held at gun point. the gate was routinely damaged by vagrants trying to force their way in or tailgate. the gym was out of use do to theft and vandalism. how could a place be so lovely and at the same time have so many difficulties. managemet were excellent and maintenanc prompt. i was even considering moving back because i remember how peaceful and quiet it was to live there --- i ended up moving because of a new very loud and getto tennant (section 8) who move near me. so i guess the problems could be the people near by. now i live down the street at union station apartments (my cars have both been stolen and broken into and so have my neighbors cars). so i guess it could just be Union City's problem.
