The management were often rude, and the apartment maintenace people acted shady. There had been fake work orders placed for things that did not need fixing in order for the maintenance to have access to the apartment when I was not home, and when there was anything that needed fixing they frequently had excuses as to why it couldn't be fixed and I would just have to "live with it". After I moved out the management came up with a whole list of "reasons" for keeping my security deposit, and then billing me for things that I didn't do (such as removing shelving paper I didn't put in). The laundry facilities were cheap and over half of the machines were broken. The pool was not kept up, rarely open, and I wouldn't even swim in it when it was.
