Thank you for your review. This review was written approximately 1 week prior to my becoming Community Manager at Lakeshore Pointe (2/13/08). For your satisfaction, I would like to address some of the concerns and issues you've had while a Resident at our Community. In regard to the pool; I understand there were some operational problems last summer. These issues have since been resolved and although we were a little late getting the pool open this summer (mid June/beginning of July '08) - all equipment is now in good working order and the pool looks great! It's clean and clear and our Residents have been able to enjoy it for the majority of the summer! :) In addition, we have since ordered brand new commercial-grade pool furniture. The new furniture arrived in July. I know the Residents have appreciated having nice pool furniture to relax on while sunbathing. Of course, this is rewarding to management as we take a great deal of pride in addressing Resident needs and resolving concerns in an efficient, timely and professional manner.

Also, in regard to your concerns about the playground equipment; our playround has since been repaired and freshly stained. All equipment is safe and now in good working order and we've actually been looking into getting it fenced and adding a bench for parents to sit on while they watch their children. Our playground has now been fully functional for approximately 4 months.

In regard to some of your other concerns; we are looking into a Resident Business Center with internet access that can be used as a multi-purpose room for our Resident enjoyment and we are certainly open to Resident input. My suggestion would be a small community party room to be used for Resident functions provided by management, but with a dual purpose feature; computer center with high speed internet access, a small theatre with seating area and flat screen TV and a conference table with seating to accomodate Residents during Resident functions. We may even look into making this room an on-site laundry facility or new fitness center, depending on the response and requests from community Residents. Making this room an on-site laundry facility would address the need for additional storage at our community as this would free up the laundry room (located in our eat-in kitchen area) for storage of holiday items, tools, toys, sports equipment, etc.

Lastly, to address your concerns regarding ants and/or pest control issues - we do currently provide monthly pest control and are currently treating the entire perimeter of the buildings when doing so and do inside treatments on an as needed/request only basis. If you are still experiencing issues in this regard, please do not hesitate to contact us.

As always, our team is here to assist you - so please let us know if we can be of further assistance in the future.

Sincerely,
Kelly J. Young
