I have lived at Lenox Park since Nov. 2007, and still do. I was impressed with the spaciousness of the apartments and the friendliness of the staff. My apartment was clean and ready when I moved in.
As for noise, of course I hear some noise. When I had my own house I also heard some noise from my neighbors. This is a community, not a rural setting. I have gotten to know my neighbors, always a good idea.
Bugs' I get them from time to time. Never lived in a place that was bug-free, including any of my houses. Lenox has been successful in keeping them minimized.
I enjoy my sunroom, my porch and my overall living space. The kitchen is extremely functional for entertaining, which I do from time to time. Friends have also commented on the beauty and spaciousness of the apartment. I have 2 friends who moved away and came back to Lenox Park. They, too, are happy and the management most accommodating.
I also enjoy the close proximity to Galleria Mall. I am also in easy walking distance to the movies, restaurants (sit down and fast food) and Kroger's. And, the complex is only 3 miles from I-75. I have had friends visit me overnight while driving to Florida. Always good to see my old friends, and have a convenient place for them to stay!
As a single woman, with a gated community, I have never felt threatened or insecure about my surroundings, and feel even better after having gotten to know my new neighbors. Though they have changed since I moved in, I have had no issues with any of them.
Recommend this apartment' Without a doubt. Come see for yourself; make up your own mind. Many of these reviews seem to be from a few really disgruntled people. While this can happen at any community (apartment or house), with or without merit, I feel that the negative comments of a few are trying to speak for the whole.
