Let me introduce myself - my name is Tonia Brantley and I am the Property Manager of Oakdale Villas. I started at Oakdale in June of 1999 and have been transferred to 3 out of the 4 local communities that our company owns in this area. I've been with the company and properties for 10 yrs now and truly love my job and all of the properties that I have managed; however, Oakdale Villas is my favorite.
I just read the latest response titled Tanya dated 01/04/09 and would like to respond to the Author. I truly am deeply sorry that you felt that I had a condescending undertone and that was not my intention. I m regret that you felt that I didn t do a very good job of trying to sell the community, but when clients are searching for specific needs or situations, I always want them to explore their options. The worst feeling a Manager can have is that the new resident has realized that maybe they didn t make the right choice and that they are unhappy with the choice. I would love for you to return to Oakdale Villas and give me another chance!
Concerning Pest Control as I give the tour I explain that we provide monthly preventative service; however, this is Georgia (or I say the South) and we still sometimes find those big ones here and there dead. I am not originally from Georgia, so the big ones pertain to the large outside palmetto bugs that can fly!
Also, on January 4, 2009 all of our vacant apartment(s) were rented with scheduled move in dates, but we had a few on-notice apartments with availability in February. As of today s date we do not have any apartments available until the end of February and mid March. Sometimes is can be very confusing to a client when we are able to show several vacant apartments, but that doesn t mean that they are available or that we have vacancies .

I was a tenant of Tonya's when she managed Northcrest Apartments. She was an awesome property manager and I'm sure she still is. Now that I am a property manager myself, I do agree on the vacancy issue. Just because there is a vacant apartment to view doesn't always mean that it's available to rent.
