I have never seen a complex that makes you jump through hoops to get some decent service. A leasing managers' job is to lease the properties as quickly as possible but I have been trying to rent from this complex for about a month and have yet to get results. I have never really seen the office manager and the assistant manager always has an attitude when you question their policies and procedures. This office needs some serious restructuring because if you ask me, they both are incompetent.I am going to contact the regional or corporate office and tell them exactly how their complex is being ran and I hope to receive better service in the future.

That's funny I did not have a problem with the process. PPA is a tax credit property and has to have a lot of verification which is up to your former landlords and employers, current and past to submit. It is up to the applicant to follow up with their contacts. Criminal and credit reports are pulled. You have to give yourself at least 2 months before you think about moving for all of the information to come back.

I know that they are a tax credit property but I explained before I even filled out the application the urgency that I would need to move and why and I was reassured that it would happen in the time frame that I needed it to. I personally made sure that all my verifications were returned in about a week. But after trying to rent for almost a month,I finally found out what the problem was. THE ASST MANAGER LIED TO ME ABOUT THERE BEING VACANCIES AND NO WAITING LIST!!! She was giving me the run around until an apartment became available!!! After speaking with the Office manager and explaining to her what was going on she spoke with the asst manager, took over my application and finally got me a move-in day. Unfortunately they were too late, I had already moved in somewhere else and they verified everything SAME DAY!!! I think it all worked out for the best though because I don't like to do business with people that are dishonest.
