I moved to Sandpiper from another apartment complex in town. I enjoyed where I was before, but moved to save some money. I visited the community twice before deciding to sign my lease, and I had no idea what I was in for. I am a female and living alone in my apartment - I would NOT recommend this at Sandpiper - here's why - I have been here for just over a month and have already called the cops twice. I wont go into the details on this page, but be warned - Sandpiper runs some tempting specials and deals to try and bring in new residents. They do this because they have to. I have some serious safety concerns living here. The complex is very dark at night and there are often people loitering around in the parking lot. This makes me uncomfortable going to and from my apartment or my car. If you do move in, be sure to arm yourself with some pepper spray. And don't leave anything on your porch/ or balcony. At least anything of value. Be sure you weigh all your options - it is not worth your safety or peace of mind to save a few dollars every month. If I could break my lease today, I would.

I AM NOT SURE WHAT BUILDING YOU LIVED IN BUT I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR ALMOST A YEAR WITH NO PROBLEMS AND I AM A SINGLE FEMALE. NOT TRASH ON SANDPIPER!! IT'S A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE. ESPECIALLY WITH ALL THE NEW RENOVATIONS.

I had to push my couch in front of my door every day, I felt that unsafe. I was a female living there alone. I would not even come home past dark by myself. When I walked my dogs I locked my door, stayed in the front, and carried a knife.
