I lived here for about 8 months, I also lived in two different apartments. The first apartment was INFESTED with roaches. They were everywhere, I had to ask for a new place to live. The office did allow me to switch but not without charging me outrageous fees. My dog did rip the carpet and I was willing to pay for that. They told me I had to replace the carpet in the entire apartment and it was $1200 bucks. The office said they would give me a discount and only charge me half. (Lucky me)It does not even cost that much to carpet an entire house. My second apartment was located in the center of drugs. All hours of the night, people up and down the stairs, being loud, standing around cars. They were also drinking and breaking bottles everywhere. There was food people threw on the lawn, and was left there for maggits to form. When I moved out of the second apartment I was aware of the lease being broke and charges to pay. They charged me for stupid things. $3.00 for a drip pan being dirty, $7.00 for dust being on the ceiling fan, $10.00 for, according to them, the toliet not being clean enough to eat off of, and everytime the maintanence man came I was charged for that. Also for each apartment I moved out of $50.00 for carpet cleaning. (remind you I paid for new carpet in the first apartment) When I moved I received a letter stating I owed money for Sandpiper. I called collection agency stated this is all that was sent, so did the apartment complex. I paid it off, moved into my new place. They also called and was told nothing was owed. Here we are nine months later and I receive another letter stating I owe more money. I call, pretty much get told it aint there problem it was my responsibility to make sure it was paid for, and my apartment complex should of gotten something in writing. I asked them did they do that with new residents and was told no. All in all, this place will rip you off, drugs run through there like crazy. I have had to go through numerous traffic blocks at the gates of the complex, police were looking for drugs. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Learn from others mistakes.

I know this resident or former resident is telling the truth! I had an elderly parent living with me who flooded the carpet in the living room. I had to have the entire apartment re-carpeted when the hall and bedrooms were practically new. My insurance paid $980.00 and they are writing me as well as a collection agency that I owe $200 for the balance. I hate this is on my credit but it will stay there a hundred years before I pay them an additional dime. This company and their staff are a joke.

Just curious...if you could have gotten the carpet replaced cheaper...why didn't you? I'm sure management wouldn't have had a problem with this as long as it was a similiar color and grade. Being in a similar field myself, I'm aware and quite sure other costs were incured that weren't even passed on to the resident as well as the time they had to put into it to take care of the isssue which was not any fault of their own.

Some places I know ( cause same with some housing complexes) have to have the same carpet, same grade, same color.. I had a friend replace his roof after a hurricane and got a different color and the place made him pay to take that color roof off and put on their standard roof and color.. It is out there
