I have been living in Sandpiper for appx 3-4 months now. It's not that bad of a place to live, but then again you get what you pay for. Some of the benefits are the prefered assocaite discounts w/ several businesses like the military or medical fields. They have a nice movie theatre, game room, work out facility, car care center and nice lake to fish in. The only downfall being that the car care center that has a busted up vaccum, that stalls to wash your vehicle in are too small, and the last i used it i was litteraly covered in black ants fromt he trashcan there. They facility also pays your water bill and that is a good thing. If front of my apartment there are several water nozels that water the dirt. That dirt eventually turns to mud and is tracked into the apartments. Also it can be challenging to get into my apartment each morning b/c of the 3 water nozels that spray accross my sidewalk. The parking situation is not any better, i know of several units in my complex alone that have 3-4 cars per unit. Although there is a grounds crew that pick up the trash tennants constantly leave bags and cups laying nex to the cars and in the bushes. I work night so the noise level i hear in the daytime is lawnmowers, blowers and weed eaters when the grass is being cut. Occasionally during the afternoon you may hear a neighbors radio a little too loud. At night is another story. The first week we moved in my wife was awaken one morning to the neighbors upstairs having sex. They moved out and now the new neighbors prefer it late at night, constantly awaking my wife from sleep. My 5 year old has asked twice what the noise was coming from upstairs. Now i'm just waiting to save my $1100 so i can break my lease and leave this place for good. The girls in the office are really nice and i can't put the blame on Sandpiper. It's more less the tennents that live there that make it bad. Then again it's not upscale and your paying $600 a month...what do you expect.

Thank you so much for all the nice things you said about Sandpiper and it's staff! I agree! Yes we do have an awesome Movie Theatre & Gameroom which any resident can rent out, a nice work out facility open 24/7, a FREE car car center with a brand new vacuum (check it out!) We value each & every resident here at Sandpiper and will always work hard to resolve any issues no matter how big or small. The car care center vacuum has recently been replaced with a brand new vacuum so please feel free to check it out! The stalls are average size. And the car wash is FREE to the residents. Free water and vacuum. That is a savings of at least $5 to $10 per use that we pass on to our residents. While I'm sure there are some residents who will throw their trash on the ground and yes ants will get in it (we live around nature) the maintenance crew cleans up this area every day during the week. Unfortunately, the car wash area cannot be patroled 24/7. Sandpiper DOES pay the water bill and that is a GREAT thing. Most all complexes now make you pay your own water. That is a big savings in these economic hard times of at least $40 per month. Water sprinkler heads can be adjusted so easily. Just a quick call to the office and maintenance will take care of this promptly. The staff is more than willing to go the extra mile to make sure a resident is not challenged gaining access to their apartment at any time. I prefer to pull my muddy shoes off at my front door. :) The grounds crew is only here one day a week on MONDAYS. We strive to keep the complex as clean & beautiful as possible and it does require the use of some equipment. I'm sure you will find this at any apartment complex you choose to live at. As far as the neighbors having sex, I'm sure they have sex at other apartment complexes also. :) We do address these issues (when made aware of them) in a tactful manner and residents are very understanding. Sandpiper may not be "upscale", but it is VERY nice and it's affordable living with ALOT of nice amenities that many "upscale" apartment complexes do not even offer. Upscale apartments will run you much more than $600 per month and more than likely will not pay water, sewer, trash pickup or have a FREE car wash and FREE movie theatre. (We show movies once a week in our theatre with free nachos, candy & drinks for the residents & a guest.) ALL apartments complexes will have occassional noise, issues. That's all part of apartment living. Reporting issues promptly before they become a sore spot hopefully will make your apartment living experience a much more pleasant one. :)
