There are always cops here. You ALWAYS have to wait at the gate to get in because people without a gate key block it while waiting for someone who can open it. It is very frusterating! There is always loud music with inconsiderate people. Alot of drugs and alcohol in these apartments. THEY DO LOOK NICE AT FIRST.......BEWARE!
Also, 2 months after we moved out, they tried to bill us $770 dollars because "they had to replace the carpet because no one could move in after us with it being so dirty and smelly". That is BS. The carpet was no different when my husband and i moved out then when we moved in. They waited until after the move-out inspection to tell us that.
Everythis is very outdated. Your electricity bill will be outrageous!!! Mine was $250 in the summer with the air set on 78 degrees in a 600 square foot apartment.
NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE!

yes the carpet they bill former renters for renovations I got it for about $800 two months after I moved out

Oh ----. I move out soon. Our carpet was a mess when we moved in. My move in inspection was done in the dark and the apartment was 110 degrees in the middle of the winter when they did it. Missed alot of stuff that I will not pay for if they bring it up. The rooms all smelled like cat pee. I'm not paying over $100 for a professional if they are just gonna bill me for the renovations.

You have issues if you didn't ensure the inspection was done to YOUR satisfaction. "Missed alot of stuff that I will not pay for if they bring it up. The rooms all smelled like cat pee. " Another "ODD" response...why in the heck did you take the apartment...sounds like SERIOUS BS here... Sandpiper are good apartments...use your adult judgment, call the Houston county police department, ask about issues...you'll see...Sandpiper has no more issues than any other large complex.
