I have lived here for almost a year. My lease is up in 4 months to the day... not that im counting or anything. The apartment is hands down the best looking inside. Beautifully designed and i cannot brag enough on how pretty they are INSIDE! As for the rest of the complex which is a big deal to all of the residents is kind of a different story. There will be a million teenage guys playing volleyball and yelling so loud you cannot hear yourself think in your apartment, they have kegs and tons of friends over, very annoying. Not to mention the numerous times i have gotten cat calls from black guys here. I refuse to go outside with my dogs after dark by myself bc of the kind of the comments yelled to me by them. A lot have been the rude trashy katrina victims. Dog poop that everyone has been so mad about is pretty bad but i always see ppl pick up after their dogs. The staff is rudeee. You have to get their attention when you walk in and they dont even acknowledge you, stuck up brats in there. The only nice and helpful one is the guy which i think is the manager' Brandon i think... very nice! And the maintanence guy in the silver car is always great and takes care of us promptly. Alta has soooo much potential to be a WONDERFUL place to live things just need to be changed. Parking is the absolute worst though. Dont think you will get a parking spot anywhere near your apartment after 9:00 at night... impossible. Put on your hiking boots! By no means do i expect country club living here but i also want to feel like im getting what im paying for which i def dont. They seem to let anyone live here. It seems like a joke that they say they have to "qualify you" I have also seen more than 10 or 11 times drug deals in the parking lot by the pool and tennis courts. Its more than obvious. This place has def been an adventure. Thank god i have such a wonderful building of ppl though. The ppl in my building are great! I have turned many many ppl away from here and i will continue to unless i see things change. This place is a joke!
