I moved into Alta Ridgewalk in February with a positive outlook even though the office staff told me about a lawsuit they were facing with a girl who made "false claims" about being raped here. Soon after, I was disappointed. Water came out of my shower head in a light trickle so I called maintenance and nothing...called again...nothing...called again, someone came out, but didn't fix the problem...called again, FINALLY got it fixed in AUGUST!!! Same thing with the mold covering the water heater closet...finally taken care of in AUGUST!!! It took 2 calls to the office to get the tub stopper replaced so the tub would hold water. The horrible sewer smell came out of my sinks until AUGUST!!! Called several times about bugs in the apartment, and no one ever called me back. I am an immaculate person so I shouldn't see many bugs. The circuit breaker for my dryer kept tripping in December so I called on the 23rd for a replacement...waited a week and called back...someone came out and flipped it back on...it kept tripping so I called a 3rd time to have someone come back out to replace it, not to just flip it back on. They said they replaced it twice already. I told them that's false because it still has the same paint spots on it. They promised to come out today to fix it...no one showed up! I finally took a breaker out of another space and put it in the space for the dryer. No more tripping, which proves that they lied about replacing it twice. They refuse to leave repair slips when they come out to your apartment explaining the repairs done. I request that they do so with each repair and they still won't. They didn't bother thanking me for putting out the fire that the hoodlem kids started which was burning down the back of the building. Parking is horrible. If you aren't home by 6pm, you have to park on a curb, in the grass, loading zones, down by another building, by the front gates, or wherever you can squeeze your car in. Then the hoodlem kids will play in and on your vehicle and leave their juice boxes on your bumpers and scratch your vehicles with their bike handles. Dog poop has been on my stairwell for 2 weeks now. My neighbors are constantly screaming at each other and shooting guns behind the building. I made a complaint and the office staff said that's not even possible because I don't have neighbors. Uh, hello! I know I have neighbors. I have to listen to them screaming at each other all night long! I caught a man trying to pick my locks and have witnesses to attest to that statement. I do not feel safe here at all. The dumpster is always overflowing so I take my garbage to work to throw it out. The list goes on and on! I have lived in many apartment complexes and I have never had such a rotten experience. I can't wait to move out!

I ALSO LIVED IN ALTA RIDGE WALK AND HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. tHERE WAS MOLD ON MY WATER HEATER, ON THE WINDOW IN THE GUESS BEDROOM, AND IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM ON THE FLOOR NEAR THE WALL WHERE THE WATER HEATER WOULD GO. I CALLED COPORATE TO FILE A COMPLANT. IT TAKES MONTHS FOR MAINTENCE TO COME OUT AND FIX ANY PROBLEM, THE STAFF IN THE OFFICE WAS HORRIBLE RESPONDING TO MY REQUEST ABOUT THE MOLD, THEY CLAIMED IT WASN'T MOLD BUT BLACK DUST. WTF?? ANYWAY, I JUST HAD A BABY AND I WAS NOT ABOUT TO BRING MY CHILD INTO A MOLD INFESTED APARTMENT. I DO NOT RECOMEND ANYONE MOVING HERE, THEY LOOK NICE BUT THE STAFF AND MAINTENCE SUCK. BIG TIME. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A NICE PLACE, ALEXANDER RIDGE IN CANTON ARE NICE, PRICE WISE TOO. THE MAINTENCE ARE WONDERFUL AND STAY ON TOP OF THINGS. SO IS THE STAFF. THE STAFF HASN'T CHANGED IN ABOUT 1 YEAR.

I currently live in Alta Ridgewalk and the noise is horrendous. Someone was arrested last night right outside my window. I can hear everything going on in neighboring apartments. Numerous complaints have been filed and all that management seems to be capable of are sending out threating notices to everyone's door threatening to evict the trouble makers. That was 4 months ago and nothing has changed. You get what you pay for, worst apartment experience since college. Dorm life was far better than this.

Why over kill on something....I personally love the office staff and think they are great and maintence has been prompt to every request I've had. Every time I've needed something they are nothing BUT friendly! Sounds like to me you are going a little overboard, but whatever.....everyone has an opinion!
