I have lived at Skyridge for 5 years. Now I am looking for a new place and saw all these reviews. Skyridge is a 'you get what you pay for' kind of place. I moved here originally while I was still in school and needed a cheap place where i could keep my dog too. The people in the office are nice, have never had a problem with them. They have had some strange maintenance guys, but they guy they have now is pretty ok. They are really bad about keeping the buildings in shape and the units are very old. Gutters aren't cleaned, buildings aren't wahsed or painted. Many of the units have problems with mold and bugs because of their age. The new ownership has now informed us that we aren't allowed to hang things (bird feeders, windchimes etc)on the buildings which would make sense if they had painted or something. But they havn't so it really made all the tenants mad, because we are trying to make our homes a little nicer. The apartment complex does not inforce its other rules very well however. Cigarette butts are everywhere and so is dog poop. I think i am the only one that picks up after my dog. Everybody else just let's their dog crap where ever they want and the office does nothing about it. Because of the cheap rent you get a lot of questionable characters moving in. High turn over in tenants too. Just when you think you've got a good neighbor they'll be gone and some noisy fool moves in. All in all, I think many of the problems are the same as at any other apartment complex, but my thing is, if i am going to have to deal with all that, I might as well live in a nicer apartment.
