Prices were good when I moved in but then when it was time to renew they went up substantially. More than what I was told when I moved in. Then I heard there was a "shooting incident'" I asked about it at the office but, no one would tell me anything so, I will not be staying any longer.

The apts don't really have anything to do with a shooting even though they should've informed the residents what happened. The guy didn't live in the apts and it wasn't a random crime. Here is the story taken from the Cherokee Sheriff's Office:
Woodstock, Cherokee County, Ga. March 21, 2005 At approximately 8:50 p.m. on March 20, 2005 the Cherokee Sheriff???s Office responded to The Terraces Apartments, located on Towne Lake Hills South in reference to a person being shot. Upon arrival, deputies were given information of a vehicle occupied by a female and male pulled into the mailbox area of the apartment complex and was met by a pickup truck, which was driven by the ex-husband of the female. The ex-husband shot the female and male victims. The female victim, Rebecca Lamastro, 36 years of age of Woodstock, Ga was the ex-wife of the suspect and was air-ambulanced to Grady Memorial Hospital where she later died. The male victim, Ronald Cothran, 37 years of age of Woodstock, Ga was also air-ambulanced to Grady Memorial Hospital where he is in critical condition. The male suspect, Mark Lamastro fled the scene. Lamastro and his vehicle were later located on Highway 515 inside the Gilmer County where he apparently committed suicide.

they may not have anything to do with the actual shooting, but if the gate was working properly, maybe the guy would not have gotten in. You have to have a gatecard or get beeped in if it is working right.
