I'll bet none of these bad reviewers have ever lived outside of the area. It seems like small town people complaining about anything. Trash, broken screens, and skate boarders is not even worth a review. The trash compactor, by the way, would not get disgusting if the residents didn't throw their ghetto furniture and mattresses in it. The maintenance men are out there immediately trying to shove all the crap down, it's not their fault. Even what people say they have to pay. You are lucky to get away with only losing a $650 deposit. If you think you are getting screwed, stand up for yourself and demand what you deserve, contact the management company don t just blame the apt office staff. Try living in south FL, where you expect everyone you meet to try to screw you anyway they can. People have it good here and don't even know it.

I have lived in several apt complexes and never have the maintenance men been more friendly, quick and knowledgeable than here. I can't say enough about them. For those hung up on the mail box murder, the guy didn't even live here. His (ex)wife was with another man so the (ex)husband shot them after she drove to the mailbox. That has nothing to do with the apts. Had she driven to Blockbuster everyone would be talking about how ghetto Blockbuster is for having a murder. Some complaints are even about trashy people living here. What do you expect the people in the office to say, you qualify but sorry you re a low life''

It may just be my location within the complex, but I have never heard a TV, radio, or the people upstairs, only kids playing sometimes outside. It is a big apt for a good price. I would recommend it.

But if the gate had been working. The guy with the gun would not have been able to get in. Because he did not live there right? so if the gate had been working either he would have had to have a gatecard or he would have had to have someone beep him in.

Once again, you are one of those people. You expect less, so you are content with less. I have (unfortunately) lived in apartments for over ten years, and this is by far the WORST. I choose to live a better life than settle for whatever life throws at me. I will stand up for my rights. Terraces at Towne Lakes is violating many different tenant rights as well as breaking regulations deemed by the Department of Health and Human Services. Get educated and know your rights.

The place is a dump, the original post is a looser from the front office trying to head off negative reviews. The gates still don't work properly and that is 2 years after the shooting I didn't know about. I call it the Ghetto at Towne Lake. If you like people hangin' on the stoop, lots of bass thumpin' all night and no reponse to verbal or written responses this is the place for you. The only thing pos. I have to say is the maint. guys are great and do a great job! Don't Move Here!!!!!!! You will hate it!!!!!!!

you obviously don't live at the terraces and only work and sell crooked leases to people trying to get by. I lived in two different apartments at this place, on the same lease if that says anything. Both of those places had people above us. The noise was something you try to get used to. Still got annoying. BTW who cares if the guy lived there or not. A MURDER IS A MURDER A$$HAT.
