Listen people, please take my review seriously. I had numerous problems with Terraces from spiders to maintenence and beyond. I have lived in many other places across the SE and this one tops it all.
The A/C went down in August for 4 days...We had to sleep with wet wash rags all over us. All they would do was give us a cheap fan that didn't do very much for 90 degree weather. It reached 96 degrees in the apartment and no one cared at all.
Maintenence is the worst I have ever experienced. It took them 8 tries to fix the garbage disposal which still didn't work that well. The bathtub and sink were constantly clogged, there was a water leak that no one ever came about that more than doubled my water bill. It was never fixed. I waited 5 days once to have my kitchen sink unclogged just to find the guys hanging out on the porch of the office having fun. It was absolutely ridiculous.
The pools are supposed to be open year round until 10 pm. Well hope you don't want an evening swim because they will be locked up. I called management and told them about it and their response was it must have been maintenence on the pool, but it was like that until we moved, must have been a lot of maintenence! Dog mess is everywhere, you can't walk in the grass and sometimes even on the sidewalk. People didn't obey the leash law or breed restriction. Most mornings I woke to a man calling his dog for 30 minutes or so and I was on the 3rd floor, imagine if I was on the ground. Spiders are a HUGE problem. They said I wouldn't have a problem with them because I was so far up, but that was a joke! They were everywhere, big ones too. The people next door smoked in the breezeway which was terribly loud especially in the middle of the night. You can hear everyones dog barking though the walls. A whole building burnt down on July 4 and no one would ever explain to the residents what happened. I'm sure thats because it was an electrical problem or something that could have happened in any of our buildings. Luckily no one was hurt. There is loud music played on balconies during all hours. We had to call the police for minors drinking and being loud in the so called "lawn" just below our windows on a week night. People were shooting bottle rockets off balconies. Garbage is everywhere, including breezeways, parking lots, sidewalks, stairwells. The gates never worked and when they were closed good luck getting in the complex. Teens were either smoking or making out at the playground all the time. The parking lot lights didn't work, so it was extremely dark walking from your car to you building at night. If you want a decent parking space I hope you work third or get off a 2pm because after about 2:30 you might as well put your walking shoes on. The office staff is the worst I have ever experienced except for one new girl they got recently and one that left right after we moved in. They know absolutely nothing and are not helpful at all. It is extremely hard to get to talk to the Managers. They are always "out on the property" and are unavailable and rarely return phone calls. All employeed here are extremely rude. The water/sewer/garbage/pest control bill is outrageous. Expect it to be at least double what they tell you the norm is. I now have a house that is double the square footage of my apartment but those bills have been cut in half at least. I could go on and on, but I'm sure you get the point. DON'T LIVE HERE!!! This is no place to call home.
