I thought when I moved here that it would be a nice place, since it was in Towne Lake. What a mistake! After the first month, I became aware of the security issues. The front gates have been broken for years. Any one can enter at any time and they do. Lights on buildings do not work. Drunken fights, car theft, drug dealers and meth labs are the norm. It is not a safe place for singles or families with children.

The apartments are poorly constructed and have virtually no insulation.The noise factor is almost unbearable.Utilities are high. We are over charged for water. There is insufficient parking. The stove and refrigerators are of such poor quality that you can hardly cook. Try cooking a turkey in one of these ovens. Windows leak. Mold is prevalent in most every building, resulting in health problems.

Snakes are frequently in the breezeways, as are roaches. Ants came in the windows this spring and wound up in my bed. The exterminators could not get rid of them. I had to buy my own spray and tape up my windows.

The landscaping used to be nice, until this past spring. The grass is not cut evenly, the shrubs have not been maintained and look awful. The choice of paint colors on the outside trim and fences that were made this spring and summer actually made the place look worse. It is dreary and depressing. I feel like I am living in the ghetto.

The office staff are only nice when you sign the lease. They try to pressure you into resigning for a second term. They are totally lacking in customer service skills. They could care less about anything that goes on around here. I would not recommend moving here to anyone. I plan to leave.

I've lived here for two years, not for much longer though. I totally agree except for the bug problem. I haven't personally had that but a friend of mine has had ants. Don't move in!

You said it all and some. I to thought since it was in Towne Lake that it would be nice and pleasant. WRONG!!!!! I have a gate card I never got to use as the gates DO NOT WORK. I do not use the pools to many kids and drunks. I killed a copperhead here and know of a tenant whos dog got bit by one behind 1700. There many things wrong with the property like MOLD, INADEQUATE LIGHTING, STREET LIGHTS THAT DO NOT WORK. LOUD PARTIES EVERY WEEKEND SOMEWHERE. COPS ARE IN HERE ALL THE TIME. DO NOT MOVE HERE. I AM NOT RENEWING. MY ATTORNEY IS GOING TO GET MY LEASE TERMINATED UNDER FALSE PRETENSES OF ADVERTISEMENT AS WE ARE NOT GATED OR WELL LITE. MANAGEMENT AND STAFF NEED A COURSE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HAVE A FRIEND WHO IS A MANAGER FOR PROPERTY IN VININGS AND IT IS RUN AND MAINTAINED VERY WELL AND THE STAFF IS VERY PLEASANT.

I agree completely, this is the exact same expirience I have had. I can't beleive nothing as been done about this situation. BOYCOTT THIS PLACE!!!! I am planning on moving soon, but wish I would've followed through with somehow breaking the lease!!! (Noise, safety, sanitation issues)
