My husband and I lived at the Terraces for about 2 years. My experience there was rather good. The staff was very nice and friendly, always willing to take care of my needs. The maintenance crew were on top of all the issues I had, very minor..,etc changing air filter for furnace, getting the garbage disposal working. There was always something going on in the community to kids nights out, adult social outings to get to met your neighbors, pool parties, craft nights. There are lots of children, but they were not noisy they were children, the people with pets cleaned up in some areas behind themselves. My husband loved the putting range they had on the backside the community. We are truck drivers so there was ample space to park large vehicles also. The parking was a little congested, but he also rented a garage to help with that issue which was a convenience for us because it gave us extra storage space and a place to be sometimes sitting out at night instead of the patio. There was lots of space and we really had a good experience. I have recommended the Terraces to a few of my friends and relatives that live there now. Everybody has their opinion, and that's mine

Interesting how quickly this came on the heels of a negative review....fairly transparent, don't you think?? The staff should wait at least a day before getting defensive...interesting how they put an upbeat slant on the ghetto of Woodstock.

Sorry, I am not a member of the staff. I am a former resident FYI and I do have relatives that moved here from Indianapolis and Michigan that live there now. Sometimes it's a shame that some people like to make others look bad to make themselves look good. Let everyone have their opinion, even if theirs don't agree with yours. Hopefully you have moved to a better apartment by now and having a wonderful life, if not go buy a house they are cheap right now.

This is most likely not a staff member..if you look at the dates, they moved out in 2006...I personally lived here oct 2006-oct 2007. I definitely saw my share of the police! our balcony was close to the entrance, and right next to the street that the entie woodstock police deprtment was investigating..we have some good video. Any way , the point is..we did see a decline in the quality of the complex from day 1 to the time we moved out..but saying that this post is from management is dumb...look at the dates! I'm guessing by the time we moved out is when all the ---- REALLY started to go to ---- and it is proven by recent posts! I personally hate apt management and in no way am I defending them.(they pissed me off more than once), but anyone who wants to know feedback on an apt..only look at the most recent feedback..because it really does go from bad to worse
