So Far, So Good

I moved here from Atlanta in August 2007, and so far, I like what I see. It's relatively quiet, though some tenants do run pretty hard up and down the steps to get to their apartments. I must say though, that is the most noise I've been aware of since I've been here. The residents and the office staff are pretty friendly, but not overly involved in your business. I've had one maintenance request so far - it was on the weekend, and it was handled immediately (within 1 hour of my request). I thought that was pretty impressive, considering maintenance is not on the property during the weekends. And, there is a resident center for the tenants, which has two computers in it, as well as a printer and copier you can use free of charge (you supply the paper) even when the leasing office is closed. The printer and copier aren't high tech, but if you go to Kinko's, etc. your going to have to pay for it, so for a small copy or print job, it works. Also, there is a "Cares Staff" here (a married couple who live on the property) who greet new residents, schedules apt. complex events, and go out of their way to help new residents get acclimated. All in all, this looks like a pretty good place to live. I have no complaints.
