Ok place to live. - I lived in Fieldstone Grand. Overall I had a good experience here. While it is higher priced, and a little far from capmus I loved the location. Right off of highway 30, next to Tan World, West Town Pub, and Jimmy Johns (wasn't there when I lived there!)and Ames Raquet and Fitness. Also, has the red route. The maintenance guy was great! The "Fun Money" we got ...Full review of Fieldstone Grand

Meh. Neither good nor bad. Just is - I have lived at South Duff for over two years (as a college student) I will try to be as unbiased as possible. -Some of the major things I've noticed. - Rent increases without notice. Despite what our contract had pre-stated, our rent has gone up twice. -Management fails to let you know 30 days in advance when additional utilities will be added to all rent. Preferential treatment - The first time I moved in the unit was dirty. The bathrooms were filthy, it took me weeks to get the stains out of the toilets. The kitchen was not up to par, there was dirt and grime underneath the fridge as well as the stove. The kitchen and bathrooms had unswept and dirty floors. Upon my transfer to another unit, the level of cleanliness only digressed. There was a bird's ...Full review of Windsor Pointe Apartments

Great place to live - I lived in one of the Furman-owned apartments off of Aspen, and I was quite happy with it. The building is relatively new, clean, and well-maintained; the property management almost always responds to requests within a day; and the neighbors are relatively quiet. There is no assigned parking, but I've never had a problem finding a spot. No complaints, really. ...Full review of Somerset Apartments

Best Place to Live in Ames! - Jim and Lisa Sorenson are the best landlords you will ever have. Period. Ames is full of landlords who don't respect students at ISU and just want to rip you off. Jim and Lisa respect you and are attentive to you when there is a problem. Jim is wonderful at getting snow cleaned up right away. The rent is very well priced for the large amount of room you get (2 bedroom). There are nice ...Full review of Southview Estates
