Avoid at all costs!

The neighborhood is awful, management is worse. I lived there for 2 years and had nothing but problems. If you have something that needs repairing, don't count on it being done in the next week, sometimes ever. After moving out, they apparently had to clean and the first notice we got about needing to pay them for the cleaning was a notice that we were being sued for the amount we owed plus interest- three months after moving out. They had our forwarding address and we had changed our address through the post office, so it's not like they didn't have a way of letting us know. We had also thoroughly cleaned the apartment to the state it was in when we moved in, and we also had a credit because we moved out halfway through the month and they claim that even that didn't cover the cleaning costs. After moving it was like night and day with how you want your apartment to be.

I forgot to mention that last year when we signed our extension of our lease in August 07 they told us everything would be fine. In late November they notified us that we made too much money to live there anymore and we had 3 weeks to move out. Legally they have to give a 30 day notice for eviction- I guess that they don't care about following the law either... Speaking of the law, when we contacted the law office that they are using to attempt to sue us we let the legal office know that they never notified us about the debt, they sent us a letter shortly afterward that stated that they had to do some investigating into the matter- which more than likely means that their suit is going to fall apart. Serves them right.

To 'anonymous'- learn how to spell because you are the one who doesn't make sense. And we did correctly change our address, because otherwise we wouldn't have gotten any of our mail. The reason we didn't get the notice until 3 months later is because they never bothered to send it. I know that they can't touch our mail, but they could have sent the notice to our old address (the apartment we rented from them) and the post office would have placed the yellow changed address sticker on the mail (like they did to all of our other mail) and we would have received it. Also, the notice we received was not the proper certified mail that they should have used, it was hand delivered by a person who works for the law office that they used to sue us with stating that we were being sued because we didn't pay the debt that we didn't know we had. Maybe you should have stopped before you started.
