I chose this complex for its location: close to campus and within walking distance to the bus systems. I used to live far away and spent a fortune on gas. While I agree that the rent is way too high for what you get, you are definitely paying for the location.
With Bloomington being a busy college town there are drawbacks to anywhere you live here, such as parking and loud neighbors.
I have never had a problem with management; they are pretty laid back and won't bother you. I have had problems, but maintanence has always come the very same day. Also, you can have a cat without a pet deposit, there is fee tanning and a gym.
Basically, you have to take it in stride and realize that this place is intended for college students who live here for a relatively short period of time. It is what it is.
