The landlord could care less about you after you live there. She's just nice to you to get you to sign the lease. We had an inefficient furnace and AC with higher utilities than the apartments around us. The staff looked into the problem and could find nothing wrong. We had a mouse problem and it gnawed through the wall (our apartment was brand new when we moved in). Good luck trying to get any help when you need it because the landlord is never there when you need her. Oh and don't forget all of the drunken parties. Beware when you leave because no matter how well you clean the apartment, you will NOT get all of your deposit back. I suggest becoming the landlord's buddy so you get some benefits or finding another place to live.
