The apartments are fairly new and cable, Internet, and garbage are included in the $300/mo rent. You just have to carry your trash down to the dumpster. It was really nice to have high-speed Internet and a washer and dryer in each apartment. We also had two full baths (shower and bath) for each 4 bedrooma apt. We had a fridge with an icemaker, microwave, garbage disposal, and stove/oven. The apartments are really small and everyone parties a lot. Parking is hard to find because so many people party here. We've had strangers in our apartment at night. That's not the really big deal. My roommates and I always paid our rent on time but they would always call us and tell us we didn't pay our rent! This happened so often. I would always have to take my bank statement to the office and show them the check they cashed! So obnoxious! The worst thing was though was that the apartment was trashed when we moved in. Everything was beat up and broken. The walls hadn't been painted since the building was built. We marked everything down when we moved in. They lost our move-in report and charged us for everything wrong with the apartment. We lost our entire deposit and even had to pay more! What a crock! I would NEVER recommend these apartments to anyone! Not even my worst enemy! The office staff is the worst I have ever dealt with. They also tried to charge us for the fire extinguisher during the year that was empty when we moved in. What a joke! Do not live here! You will lose a ton a money and have to deal with so much! Cedar Falls has so many great places to live. This one tops the worst of the list.
