Take it from me; this place is very miss-leading. 80% of what they tell you is lies. They just tell you what you want to hear, until they get you locked into a lease. The female manager is very nice to you until you get locked into a lease, then watch out. She loses all her people skills and treats you like you are nothing. She is very rude and talks down to you. She also makes you feel like you are bothering her, when it is her job to deal with problems.

For the amount of money you pay in rent it is just not worth your time. I would recommend living somewhere else. They are always losing your rent checks. They lost mine several times. What do they do in the office if they can't keep the student's records right.

They have also sued several of my friends. This is part of the reason I moved out. Take a look for yourself..(http://www.iowacourts.state.ia.us/ESAWebApp/Tria type in Hillcrest Park and see how many people they have taken to court.

When you move out don't think you will get your deposit back. They make up some many charges. They are ridiculous, $20 to wipe down a washer, $20 to wipe down a dryer, come on that is outrageous. They will even charge you for light bulbs. The blinds break after normal ware and tare and they will still charge you like $125 for a new one and the doors are $125 too. They are just cardboard. There is no way that these doors cost that much..I looked at Menards and they are only like $30, that almost a $95 profit from each door.

They say they are more than an apartment, it's a life style... beware, all they want is your money...Take my advise go somewhere else!
