I was desperate for a place to live come May 08' and waited until the last minute before I had to move out of my dorm, Bob&Sue did everything possible to have a one bedroom apartment ready by the following weekend, although they didn't get it done on time b/c they took the time and effort to make sure it was 100% ready instead of rushing me into, once I moved it it was a beautiful spacious one bedroom apartment that was super clean and they put in brand new carpet (not just cleaned but brand new) I asked for a quiet area and they put me just 2 doors down from them & I also asked for a window facing College St. and I got both of my requests. I don't know anything about the past landlords but these two couldn't do much better than what they have done. They always greet you, smiling, and are very helpful with anything. My closest door fell off the hinge & the very next day Bob had it fixed after I placed a note in the rent drop box. My outlet in the bathroom didn't work properly and the very next day an electrician was knocking at my door. Rent is a little pricey, but you're two blocks away from campus, have on site laundry, & a parking spot 24/7 with a towing company that will tow away anyone not allowed to park in your space. The only downside of these apartments is that I don't have a dishwasher but Bob & Sue said in the next year that they would provide one and the kitchen is as my boyfriend would call a "one butt" kitchen (very small) All in all, it's safe and close to campus and my work...I would recommend UNI Manor to everyone who asks...also, you can have kitty's!!!!
