I lived in this complex for a yr. First off I would like to say the maintenance people are great. But there is only 2 of them. For all buildings. They are told by management to do the cheapest fix possible. Which sometimes doesn't last even 24 hrs. On that note, if you re request a fix, you are treated like dirt from office and most times they will not put it through. I had a drunk friend unfortunately run into my shower and take down the rod. I called the office and stated that it was my fault, and I would pay the damages (for a new rod, etc), could someone fix it. At this time the manager Jerry or Terry (horrible person), told me I was a ----- and a slut and told me that if I let people pee in my shower I should pay the damages. Great customer service. Never had any friend of mine peed in the shower. I rarely have people over. That was never stated in the phone call. Let this show you the LEAD management here. I discarded this due that I have an english mastiff and no one in this town takes them. I sucked it up and signed another 6 months lease. At this time, my apartment was completely flooded from hall way back (I have a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom). The carpet was cleaned then changed (only in the bedroom, I'm am saying in apt 103 2050 you will have mold problems later) and on the other apts 14 others that were affected. After all my materials back there were ruined, and luckily for one day i let my dogs stay in the living room because it was 260 degrees and they would of been suffocated and killed in the kennels they are in when i work or go to school. Took awhile for insurance to kick in, this just happened today. I get a new bed. After taking a petition of tenants to see who else was not getting they're property fixed. I had 20 signatures. Someone (by the way be wary of your neighbors, they get their rent from government..and it's the only place that will take them) gave a note that was left. Someone took that note to management, btw it stated it wasn't fair what they were doing, and let's talk about it. I got this note signed from management and in AMANDA'S handwriting. I know this because of her handwriting on my lease and of notes for say things like bug control, etc. I do know nothing of other office staff MARIA. I have had no problems with her. And she's actually apologized for they're manager. But since they're in the same group. I question it. I got a handwritten note from AMANDA signed management calling me names (which she couldn't spell, so that shows the caliber of people you will deal with) and threatening my animals. All though she was not smart enough, to threaten anything....she threatened my 2 big dogs, I have one mastiff and one basset/beagle. My mastiff is akc registered, legal in this city and state,and on the lease. She had no idea what she was talking about and misspelled the whole thing. I am moving out at the end my lease. The hallways are nasty and never cleaned. They're is no security at the door. Living next to the laundry room, plenty of people come in and hang out there and you feel threatened to to do your laundry. Second, the parking lot is NOT safe at all. Especially if you are walking alone and are female. I've had to escort my friends in with having a knife and mace on me. Due to gangs, and other bullies, that when you complain to the office, say it's not their problem. The office staff is completely rude and degrading. I'm moving the hell out of here. They can take they're threatening letters and obscene phone calls and shove it. Please stay away from here for your own good.
