This apartment complex clamis to be "Cedar Rapids Best Kept Secret." There probably is a reason they wanted to keep it secret. I guess it is hard to expect much for 450.00. The kitchen was furnished with the finest of early 80s appliances, and was like trying to cook in a hallway. Major holes in the baseboards under the cabnets and appliances, the carpet was of cheap quality and coming up in places, and the furnished "locks" for the windows were nothing more than sawed-off broomsticks. Community laundry provided - one washer, one dryer for 10 apartments. Spiders everywhere, and a gap underneath the front door that was 2-3 inches high! With the proximity to the University, lots of students call this complex home. Not bad if you like trying to sleep through all-night parties, police visits, and the smell of burning herbs. Garages were availiable for 40 dollars a month, but were nowhere near the apartments themselves. I only lived there 5 months until being transferred to another city, and they were NOT reasonable with breaking the lease (even with a letter from my employer.) It is close to the highway, but the neighborhood two blocks away leaves something to be desired. Probably good if you are desparate, but I would look elsewhere.
