I live in one of the two bedroom apartments. For a single person, the apartment is not bad as apartments go...new appliances...new carpet...new paint, but there is a BIG flaw: Any box spring mattress bigger than a twin size will NOT fit up the stairs to the second level. So your choice is to "make your living room a bedroom, and your bedroom a living room"- this was actual ADVICE from the apartment management! They also deny that they knew about this issue until people starting moving in. They also refuse to do anything about it.

Also, the site is under HEAVY reconstruction. Parking is a nightmare: most of the lots are gravel and you have to fight to get a spot on the street. There are no dumpsters set up by the rented out buildings and you must walk a block to throw your trash out. Your mailbox is also a block away by the office. Also (yeah, there's more) the garages are not done. Also, nice was being woken up on a Saturday morning at 7:30 am by the loud car stereo of the construction workers.

The staff here seems clueless and seems focused on renting these places out, rather than making it an enjoyable place for those already paying rent.

Because of the above problems, I can't recommend this place.

One of my friends lives here and to be at the Pointe now is AWESOME! All of the construction is done on the west side of Sherman and has been completed for awhile. I wasn't aware of the stair issue, though a person could bring the bed in through the upstairs windows if needed. The indoor pool is FANTASTIC and ironically hardly used. If I didn't already have a condo, this is where I would be. Take the tour, you will be happy you did!
