My father is a self employed construction worker with his own business and he was hired to remodel THE POINTE so he did until he found out that the owners paid so much money to the state to keep thier horrible mold problem hush hush. They wanted construction workers to put sheetrock over the walls, spray them and paint. Noone would so evryone as well as my dad quit so they hired others that would and payed them double the amount. My father reported it to the news,but noone can shut them down cause they payed so much for their problem. There is enough mold behind those walls it can attack and kill a newborn! (NO JOKE).

HI I JUST WANTED TO SAY THAT I LIVED THERE AT THE POINTE FROM SEPTEMBER 07 TO FEBRUARY 08 AND I MOVED NOT JUST CAUSE THE NOISE BUT THE MOLD, I HAD IT SO BAD MY 8 MONTH OLD SON WAS GETTING AND I WAS TIRED OF THE DOCTOR VISITS... YOUR DAD IS ONE SMART GUY AND IF SOMEONE WANTS TO SAY DIFFRENT ABOUT THE MOLD ALL I HAVE TO ASK IS : DID YOU DO THE CONSTRUCTION?

Sounds like a bunch of bs to me. Out of nowhere...this random person posts about the pointe's remodel that was entirely completed in the summer of 2007(it is August of 2008 now). So, they didn't even live at the Pointe and out of nowhere decide to bad mouth the property? If you ask me...they had one bad experience living at the Pointe and made up a couple of lies to sound credible. It is a very nice place to live and they would not knowingly do something like that.

I live at the pointe currently, I moved in directly after the remodel. Within 3 months, maintence had to come and re-remodel my bathroom as model behind the shower had come through the drywall, pushed through the shower and grout. It was a health concern and I was moved to a different apartment as they wouldn't let me out of my lease without a substantial fine. So I would say the original poster's accustation is true- at least I believe her and I am thankful my lease is up soon and I am moving! Never again will I sign an 18month lease.
