I've lived here for almost a year and it has been great so far. Like others have said, staff is very attendant and friendly. During routine maintenance inspection, a small leak was found from my water heater and a few days later they replaced it with a new, larger, more efficient unit.

These buildings are slightly older (80's era) but are a solid brick construction and quite a bit nicer than most other apartments around Cedar Rapids. The units have large windows that let in lots of natural light. All decks were rebuilt last summer and many of the parking lots were repaved. The units are quiet, as is the neighborhood. Quite a few Rockwell engineers and other young professionals live here, along with some senior residents. It's in a great location about 10 minutes from downtown and right next to Ellis Park and the Cedar River, so there is plenty of park space around.

If I had to name a complaint, it would be the lack of lighting in some of the parking lots. There were a couple break-ins last summer, although it seems to be more of a citywide problem rather than just Windsor. The area is densely wooded so better lighting would go a long way toward keeping thiefs at bay.

Disregard some of the older 1-star posts...Windsor has new management and they are much more attentive with general upkeep and making Windsor a more comfortable place to live.

There is 100% truth to everything I said, windrowbadapps. And my complaint about the lack of lighting in the parking lot still stands.
