Bad management!!!Don't trust them!!!!!! They could cheat you out of your money. Change very quickly when you sign the lease. Think before your sign.

I regret the first day I sign the lease. (I have to sign because I ask a friend to put the deposit for me, and I only talked to the staff over the phone). They appeared nice, trying to convince you, but then, they changed, bad manners, not helpful, very inflexible....

If you want trouble, go ahead, I STRONGLY recommend you stay away from this. THere are plenty of other good places to live in Clive and Des Moines.

I'm the leasing agent for Timberland Terrace and I know who wrote this. They had someone put down a deposit to hold an apartment for them and then a month later said that they werent moving in, and since we held the apartment for a month we had to keep the deposit. It is Timberland policy that you have 72 hours to change your mind before we cash your deposit chack. It was their fault that they didnt contact us to let us know that they didnt want the apartment. We tried to call that person several times to check and make sure the move in date was correct and they never returned our calls. This can happen to any apartment complex and they will ALL tell you the same thing, if you hold an apartment for 30 days and then decide you dont want to move they will keep your deposit. Thats why we check up on how your doing and make sure you still want the apartment, that way we dont have to keep your deposit if you change your mind.

I agree with this client. Timberland Terrace has BAD Management! The the newest member of the office has very bad manners and speaks to residents with attitude, as if we are bothering them. And heck if you can get straight answers out of them!

I agree with the client. Timberland Terrace is aweful to live and the manager has no idea what she's doing. Never handles complaints. Never follows up on problems. Maintenance is slow and takes forever! To anyone who lives there make sure to do your move out survey b/c its the only time the investors/owners get to see what really is going on. I hope they get bought by a company who will actually care about their tenents and hire good managers!

This place is horrible. My friend recommended me...he did NOT get the advertised referal bonus. I refered my friends (not knowing at the time he was not given his $250.00) and I was never given mine. Maintenance is SLOWWWWWWW, however it's important to know it's one guy. My lease can't end soon enough. I have had a number of friends as me about this place (due to it's great location) and I have steered them all away...nothing will change either!

I agree with corum... it's horrible.. been there almost two years... plenty of problems that only got fixed from a call to timberland partners and still took a few calls. Still have some problems that have been there since day 1 that aren't fixed. Great location, decent prices, bad management. You can also hear everything your upstairs neighbor is doing and i mean everything
