At first, this place gives a good impression. But first impressions are rarely ever accurate.

There's no dishwasher, first of all. And we moved in during the winter season, so we didn't see how AWFUL the air conditioner was. It's just a wall unit, in the living room, and that's the ONLY room that will EVER be cool. We ended up having to BUY a $300 portable unit, because the landlord refused to do anything about our bedrooms being over 80 degrees, despite the damned A/C running 24/7. And it's LOUD!

The landlord, Tim Lehman, is a real pompous ass, too. You have to ask several times for things to be fixed, and sometimes, he WON'T fix it, writing it off saying "it's good enough."

The neighbors were really loud. The person down the hall would get random visitors all throughout the night at odd hours. (I know because I was up with a newborn.) We then figured out they were DEALING DRUGS OUT OF THEIR APARTMENT! A few weeks later, police and drug dogs showed up searching their place.

Oh, and the so-called "laundry room" is two washers, and two dryers in the basement. FOR 20 PLUS tenants! It's ALWAYS being used, mostly because it never works, and you have to pump way too many quarters in the damned thing to get your clothes dry.

This place is awful. Parking is awful, the lots are NEVER plowed, everything is icy in winter. I wouldn't sign up for another year in this dump for a million dollars. It's a miserable place to live, which is probably why Tim is trying to sell it on his website. He calls it a "rare find" - really, that made me laugh!

Yeah, that post doesn't COMPLETELY sound like it's coming from the new owners... Truly pathetic. Did you mean "readily" available because "reality available" makes absolutely no sense. If you were REALLY a tenant, there's no way you would have stayed through a bunch of "really bad owners." No person in their right mind would put up with that crap. I never met a SINGLE person that was there before Tim, so I know that statement is completely false! Busted! You poser!

As of July 1, 2008 the apartment building has new owners "WOW" what a difference this has made in the property!!! In just one month the new management team has cleaned up the place- is puting in dishwashers, painting all the units, kicking out all of the loud and trouble making tenants. I have lived through a couple of really bad owners and these folks really have a handle on things. Their property manager is reality available to handle any and all problems. Give the place a try now!
