All I can say is thank God I only had a 6 month lease. In the beginning the place seemed great, but that changed all to quickly. Right after moving in a neighbor told me that a girl had been attacked in the parking lot a month before, and since parking is a NIGHTMARE I always had to walk a long distance to my apartment after work. The management was rude. I attempted to use their "work out facility", which consists for 4 machines, 3 of which work, and I was treated very rude because I came in a hour before they wanted to close. When my roommate discovered mold growing in his apartment he called to submit a work order and no one answered the phone so he walked down to the office. The manager told him she would leave note because she didn't want to call since she just shut the phone off because it was ringing too much. DO YOUR JOB. Then, 17 days later, after 3 more complaints and a formal letter threatening to contact the local housing department and the better business bureau the mold was "fixed." Within the week we found more mold. I could hear every move of up upstairs neighbors and the ones behind us. My next door neighbors were rarely loud, but a woman two buildings down felt the need to call the police on them on a regular basis. As a result the management sent them a letter say "deadbeats last notice: move out." The grass was mowed once when I lived there and it took about a day for someone to come clear snow. Even though there was NO parking, management began to have people towed for parking improperly. How are you supposed to park properly if there is NO place to park' Since there was no place for kids to play they played in the parking lot, I can not count the number of kids I almost hit trying to drive in and out. My roommate decided to get a garage to fix the problem of not having a place to park and because someone was trying to break into her car, but by the time she arrived home from work her garage was bocked in, so she couldn't use it. My car, along with several others, was broken into. A neighbors truck was stolen in the night, and there was little lighting outside a night. DO NOT MOVE INTO CHAPEL RIDGE....YOU WILL REGRET IT!
