I moved back to Council Bluffs from Texas in Oct 08. As soon as I came back my wife and I started searching for a decent apartment that was nice, clean, quiet, handicapped accessible and within our budget. After what seemed like an eternity of searching we found Deerfield Apartments. I being handicapped was unable to actually go over and see the apartments so my wife met with the manager to see them herself. My wife loved the apartment she was shown so I started doing searches on Deerfield Apartments. I must tell you what I found was not good. I called the manager of Deerfield and asked about the problems. The manager (Jennifer) was nothing more than honest with me and explained that she had only been here since Oct. of 08 and was in the process of solving the problems.
We signed our lease in Feb.09 and have had no regrets.
Jennifer is a great manager she does her best to keep things under control and nice for her tenants. My wife and I would be more than happy to live in any apartment in Council Bluffs that Jennifer manages.
Maintenance here is very good. The longest I have waited for anything was 2 days and that was because they had to order parts.

I agree! This is a great place, with a few negatives but mostly positives. I have overall been happy here, with maintenance but ecspecially with Management.
