This is my first apartment experience. When looking for one a couple years ago, I had some problems finding one because I was young and hadn't established much credit yet, but when I first came here the management was extremely nice and welcoming. I was able to move in with little down and lucky enough to get a newly renovated one. Very nice, lots of counter space and cabinet space in kitchen, two nice-sized closets and two smaller ones for lots of storage, very cheap utilities...everything electric. Highest energy bill was during summer months of $50. I've been here for a year and a half and haven't regretted a thing. The only problem I have had was a plumbing issue so I called emergency maintainance because it was the weekend and someone was there within an hour. Same problem occured a couple months later and fixed promtly. No problems since and maintainance guys were very nice. I have a one bedroom, a large breed dog, and garage and rent is still under $600. Very reasonable. The only complexes that I know of that are cheaper or at about the same range are Riverbend and Cottonwood, but I have friends that live in both and they are definitely not as nice and quiet as here. Parking can be an issue sometimes, but no big deal. A little noisy at times, but that's the perks of renting an apartment. A lot of my neighbors were here before I was and are still here so that's a good sign. Good, quiet location. Grounds are well maintained as well as the units...very good about keeping it bug and pest free. Management is always nice, flexible, and easy to talk to. I feel safe and at home here. Overall, I have had a good experience here, but it's just time to move on to something a little bigger and with a furnished washer and dryer, and hopefully it will be a stress-free as Hidden Bluffs! :)
